Martin Luther King Memorial Opens

A $120 million memorial to slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., opened to the public on the National Mall in Washington Monday. The official dedication of the monument, to be attended by President Barack Obama, is set for Sunday, the 48th anniversary of King’s famed “I Have a Dream” speech.
