Eric Holder’s Radical Past Involved ‘Armed’ Takeover of ROTC Building

Attorney General Eric Holder has always been known as an incompetent liberal ideologue that’s pushing a radical agenda at the Department of Justice (DOJ). Most of his pursuits at the DOJ have been of an activist nature, such as not charging the New Black Panther Party with voter intimidation and suing states that try to limit voter fraud. New evidence has been discovered that reveals Holder participated in an ‘armed’ takeover of a former Columbia University ROTC office.

Eric Holder is a radical. He and his former law firm has defended terrorists; his primary objective is to be a liberal activist, while punishing those who are against him. The DOJ has been polluted under his tenure. But it doesn’t stop there.

The Daily Caller dug up some frightening information about Holder’s past as a black radical in college. It’s clear that he had a similar experience to Barack Obama, growing up with disdain for America.

As a freshman at Columbia University in 1970, future Attorney General Eric Holder participated in a five-day occupation of an abandoned Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) headquarters with a group of black students later described by the university’s Black Students’ Organization as “armed,” The Daily Caller has learned.

Department of Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler has not responded to questions from The Daily Caller about whether Holder himself was armed — and if so, with what sort of weapon.

Holder was then among the leaders of the Student Afro-American Society (SAAS), which demanded that the former ROTC office be renamed the “Malcolm X Lounge.” The change, the group insisted, was to be made “in honor of a man who recognized the importance of territory as a basis for nationhood.”

Black radicals from the same group also occupied the office of Dean of Freshman Henry Coleman until their demands were met. Holder has publicly acknowledged being a part of that action.

The details of the student-led occupation, including the claim that the raiders were “armed,” come from a deleted Web page of the Black Students’ Organization (BSO) at Columbia, a successor group to the SAAS. Contemporary newspaper accounts in The Columbia Daily Spectator, a student newspaper, did not mention weapons.

Holder, now the United States’ highest-ranking law enforcement official, has given conflicting accounts of this episode during college commencement addresses at Columbia, but both the BSO’s website and the Daily Spectator have published facts that conflict with his version of events.

Holder has bragged about his involvement in the “rise of black consciousness” protests at Columbia.

“I was among a large group of students who felt strongly about the way we thought the world should be, and we weren’t afraid to make our opinions heard,” he said during Columbia’s 2009 commencement exercises. “I did not take a final exam until my junior year at Columbia — we were on strike every time finals seemed to roll around — but we ran out of issues by that third year.”

Though then-Dean Carl Hovde declared the occupation of the Naval ROTC office illegal and said it violated university policy, the college declined to prosecute any of the students involved. This decision may have been made to avoid a repeat of violent Columbia campus confrontations between police and members of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) in 1968.

The ROTC headquarters was ultimately renamed the Malcolm X lounge as the SAAS organization demanded. It later became a hang-out spot for another future U.S. leader, Barack Obama, according to David Maraniss’ best-selling ”Barack Obama: The Story.”

Holder told Columbia University’s graduating law students during a 2010 commencement speech that the 1970 incident happened “during my senior year,” but Holder was a freshman at the time. “[S]everal of us took one of our concerns — that black students needed a designated space to gather on campus — to the Dean [of Freshmen]’office. This being Columbia, we proceeded to occupy that office.”

Holder also claimed in his 2009 speech that he and his fellow students decided to “peacefully occupy one of the campus offices.” In contrast, the BSO’s website recounted its predecessor organization’s activities by noting that that “in 1970, a group of armed black students [the SAAS] seized the abandoned ROTC office.”

There are differing details on the incident, which signals the Obama team has tried to hide the most damming facts that implicate Holder. The takeaway, though, is simple: Eric Holder is a racist that believes in black supremacy and uses corrupt power to protect and help his movement. This is why the DOJ didn’t prosecute the New Black Panther Party.

The article is a must read. Holder is a fraud, but a perfect fit for the Obama administration. What is going on with the so-called leaders of this country?

Eric Holder is a disgrace! He is the perfect example of ” You can take the hood rat out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood, out of the hood rat!” He has no place in the job fellow racist Malcom X Lounge loiterer Obama placed him in, and it shows once again how ridiculously amateur this administration really is!

They are doing the same thing to this country that they did to that ROTC building at Columbia University! Our country will never be the same as long as hood rats are leading it! It’s the typical way an annexed city block goes to ruin after taken over by black people, they have a few fish sandwich shacks, liquor stores, salons, pawn shops, and juke joints, and the area goes the way of Detroit! Just like this Country is going now! Then twenty yrs. later the same property is restored by white people who clean it up, and it thrives! Pathetic!

First, the New Black Panther Party was a group made up of a few people. They – actually one man came to be known during the 08′ election and was found – by the W Bush DOJ – not to be involved in either criminal acts or voter intimidation as first reported.

In fact, the New Black Panther Party – again made up of a handful – wasn’t even on the DOJ’s list or other Federal law enforcement lists as being a threat.

Second: I lived a mile away from Columbia at that time and the truth is that demonstrations, take over of administrative bldgs were done by Black & White student organizations, mostly as a result of the Vietnam war.

But yes Black student organizations were also demanding recognition. However, their actions were no different than that of white students. And if the writer actually knew the facts he’d know that demonstrations and take over of campus bldgs was part of that time. And not just a result of those of one color or the other.

Third: The SAAS was not an armed group. Guns and or high powered weapons was not part of that culture back then. Yes, the Black Panthers did arm themselves but they were not part of campus demonstrations or take over of campus bldgs, including ROTC offices.

More over, ROTC offices were being taken over and thrown off of all University Campus throughout the country by mix racial students — again as a result of the Vietnam war.

Fourth: While AG Holder acknowledged his participation, as well as the Black Student Union’s reference to Malcolm X – sans weapons – the writer doesn’t refer to recent American history, which would have put the Columbia University struggle in context with what was going on through out the country — and that is was not an outlier.

Fifth: The “rise of black consciousness” was not unique during that time. At UCLA, the same demonstrations occurred and it’s basketball team, headed by Kareem Abdul Jabbar, known then as Lew Alcindor was part of similar actions.

Sixth: The above photo is obviously doctored. AG Holder in the pic looks the same as he does today. You’d think that after 44yrs he’d look different.

Plus, the African neckless is photo shopped. That was the first giveaway.

Finally, I voted for W – twice – and recognize the damage his administration did in the name of this country. And I recognize what other Presidents & their Administrations have done – because those are based on historical facts.

If this piece of writing was anchored in journalism and actual research I’d say: okay, this is something to seriously consider. But it’s not ….

Until people start calling “Democrats” out for who they really are, we’ll never win. In order to win, we must call the enemy out by name and these people are Progressive Communists. Go ahead, keep calling them Democrats and we’ll lose.
